Sam-Ugo Technical Services ("we", "us") supplies office equipment, printers, toners, cartridges, laptops, CCTV and solar street lighting. We are based in Mainland, Lagos State, Nigeria.

2. Information we collect
- Enquiries. When you contact us through our website, by email, phone or WhatsApp, we receive your name, phone number, email address and the details of your request.
- Newsletter sign-ups. When you subscribe to our emails, we store your email address, your name if you give it, and a record of your consent (the date, time and IP address of the sign-up).
- Business contacts. We may hold the work contact details of people at organisations we supply or would like to supply.
- Email activity. When we send you an email, our email provider records whether it was delivered, opened or clicked, and whether you unsubscribed or marked it as spam.
3. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiries, prepare quotations and deliver your orders.
- To send transactional messages about your enquiry or order.
- To send occasional marketing emails about our products and offers, where you have agreed to receive them or where we have a legitimate business relationship with your organisation.
- To keep our mailing list accurate, respect unsubscribe requests and protect our email reputation.
We process your information on the basis of your consent, to take steps you request before entering a contract with us, and for our legitimate business interests, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
4. Unsubscribing from our emails
Every marketing email we send contains an Unsubscribe link. Clicking it removes you from our mailing list straight away. You can also unsubscribe by emailing Samugotech12@gmail.com. Once you unsubscribe we keep your email address only on a suppression list, so that we never email you again by mistake.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business:
- Twilio SendGrid, which delivers our emails.
- Cloudflare, which hosts our website and email systems.
- Neon, which stores our mailing-list database.
These providers may process data outside Nigeria, including in the United States. They are bound by their own security and data-protection commitments. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and order records for as long as needed to serve you and meet our legal and accounting obligations. We keep newsletter subscribers until they unsubscribe. Suppression records are kept so that your unsubscribe request continues to be honoured.
7. Your rights
You may ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. You may withdraw your consent at any time. To make a request, email Samugotech12@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
8. Cookies
Our website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Some fonts and images on the site are loaded from third-party services (Google Fonts and Unsplash), which may receive your IP address when the page loads.
9. Security
Our website and systems are served over encrypted connections, and access to our mailing list is password protected.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its effective date.
